By tracking engagement with Postology Analytics, you can continuously optimize the widget to better serve your readers and achieve your website's goals.

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Postology > Analytics.

  2. Here, you can filter the data by a specific date range to see two key metrics:

    • Total Views: This shows how many times the widget loaded on your web pages within the specified date range.

    • Engagement Rate: This is calculated as (Clicks / Views) * 100. It shows the proportion of views that resulted in clicks, expressed as a percentage.

Interpreting Data: Analyzing these metrics can provide insights into how effectively the widget is engaging your readers and where improvements may be needed:

  • If the engagement rate is less than 20%, your widget might not be capturing readers' attention effectively. Consider trying shorter headings or using brighter colors for the buttons to make the widget more eye-catching.
